Anti-Friction is a leader in the application of various zinc-rich, corrosion-resistant organic coatings on fasteners, stampings, and complex geometry parts for both the automotive and non-automotive industries.

Our capabilities include the application of non-automotive water borne coatings for many industrial, construction and commercial applications. These coatings are available in a variety of colors and offer superior weatherability.

Anti-Friction Enterprises also applies organic coatings which meet and exceed the specification requirements of most major automotive manufacturers around the world such as General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Stellantis, Honda, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Volkswagen and BMW.

PHOSPHATE: The use of the phosphate pre-treatment processes improves the adhesion and enhances the corrosion resistance when compared to solvent degreased substrates. Barrel and basket phosphating options are available depending on application type.

SHOT BLAST: Multiple shot blast machines are used to quickly pre-treat high-volume large applications such as suspension control arms. Each machine is equipped with a 24-30 piece hanging system with variable dwell times. This technique provides an ideal surface for coating applications.

CONVEYOR BELT WASHER: This large belt-fed conveyor system accommodates larger applications such as suspension control arms. This multi-stage spray washing system uses environmentally safe aqueous solutions to remove oils from large cast and machined parts and stampings.

The barrel coating line provides increased flexibility and enhanced overall quality with its horizontal barrel tumble coating process. This coating line is very effective in preventing coating buildup for multiple fastener types including recessed head bolts, or many varieties of stampings.

Our Reinhardt barrel line boasts soft material handling and small paint reservoirs. It's small overall footprint is highly energy and material efficient without sacrificing quality or throughput.

Multiple lines at our facilities use this versatile coating method. Dip spin lines are capable of handling large volume parts utilizing a basket system that dips baskets into coating material, and uses high velocity rotation to achieve desired coating thickness outputs. All coating thickness variables are controllable via coating viscosities, layers, RPMs and spin times. Large high-temperature/high-capacity curing ovens complete the process by drying and hardening the newly created corrosion resistant bond.

We have invested in, and upgraded some of our coating lines to include the tilt tumble capability that provides us with the flexibility to handle parts with difficult configurations and geometries. The feature allows the basket to be tilted up to 90 degrees, and can tumble simultaneously forcing coating material into small recesses.

Specializing in coating delicate, large sized and/or complex geometry parts, this coating like utilizes a drain process as opposed to a motorized centrifuge. The long belt and customizable hanging system is capable of effectively processing high volumes.

As with our other coating equipment, overall metrics are highly controllable and customizable. Our quality control team ensures consistent results using our state-of-the-art laboratory to test all associated values.
